About WeddingBudget

WeddingBudget is a free set of wedding budgeting tools: a wedding cost calculator that estimates your total from guest count, region, and style, a budget breakdown guide showing where every dollar goes, and a 2026 average cost guide grounded in large industry surveys.

Why we built it

Most couples start wedding planning with a single scary question — "how much is this going to cost?" — and get answers ranging from a blog post's guess to a vendor's sales pitch. We wanted a middle ground: transparent estimates built on published survey data, with the math shown (see our methodology).

What's free, what's not asked

• Everything is free. No accounts, no sign-ups, no paywalled features.
• No vendor kickbacks. We don't sell leads and we don't run affiliate links — the calculator recommends no vendors at all.
• Estimates, not quotes. Every number on this site is a planning estimate. Real prices vary by vendor, season, and city — always collect real quotes before booking.

Who's behind it

WeddingBudget is an independent project by a small team that builds free planning calculators. We don't publish personal contact details; the site speaks for itself — and every figure on it is traceable to a named source in the methodology page.
